Directors

Montse Sánchez was born in Barcelona in 1964. She studied Dance in the Instituto del Teatro de Barcelona, and furthered her studies with the Ballet Nacional, Paco Romero, Ciro, Bety, Antonio Alonso and Guito among others. She has dance in the companies of Paco Romero and Antonio Alonso and in the theatrical shows "Dancing" and "Yo tengo un tío en América" of Els Joglars. She received a special mention in "Festival Coreográfico Óscar López" as a choreographer.

She choreographed "Història d'un soldat" for the theatre company Dau Rodo.

She created the company ALHAMBRA together with Mabel Romero.

In 1992 she was a finalist in "I Certamen Corográfico de Danza Española y Flamenco de Madrid" with the choreography 3X3.

In 1993, she created with Ramón Baeza, the company Increpación danza.

She teaches at the Spanish dance department of the Intituto del Teatro de Barcelona and at the Laie School in Alella, Barcelona.

Ramón Baeza was born in 1963, where he initiated his studies of ballet and Theatre, which were furthered in Paris with Solange Golovine and Phillippe Gaultier. It was there, after working for a while in cabaret shows, that he became involved with the company of Lindsay Kemp.

On returning to Barcelona he graduated in Contemporary Dance in the Instituto del Teatro de Barcelona. he worked with Carolyn Carlson and Larrio Ekson, Michael Clark, with Jose Granero in the opera "Armide" in the Teatre del Liceu, and with the Contemporary Ballet of Barcelona in the show "Quomix".

He choreographed and acted in the show "Icones" of Peter Maxwell Davies, as well as presenting his own performances in different public spaces in Barcelona.

In 1991-92 he studied new techniques of dance in New York and worked there with Nuria Olive at "The Bulls at the Ball", "Asiaris", and the film "The Fight".

He danced in the piece "Meeting B" with Javier de Frutos, which was released in New York in 1993, He worked with Javier de Frutos also as assistant of choreography for other shows.

During the Olimpiada Cultural Barcelona'92 he worked with Kilina Cremona and in a choreographical project with Kate Flatt in England.

After wining the firs prize of the "Certamen Coreográfico de Danza Española y de Flamenco de Madrid", he set up the company increpación together with Montse Sánchez.
